For Parents
Every story is written for one of three audiences — children, teens or adults — and the audience sets the language level and the content rules. Children's stories carry no ads, no romance and no violence beyond storybook peril, and the child-facing library is filtered to that audience.
Age ranges
Each story is written for children, teens or adults. Children's stories use short sentences and a simple vocabulary, and end on a hopeful note. Teen stories allow conflict and real stakes. Adult stories explore history, scripture and literature without those limits.
Content rules
Every story carries content limits recorded at creation — for example no violence, no romance, or a general-audience rating. Those limits are passed to the engine on every passage, so a story written for children cannot drift into content written for adults.
Ads
Advertising is off by default on the whole site, and children's stories never show ads.
Reading together
Interactive stories work well read aloud: the reader chooses, the story answers. Because a choice can be typed in freely, we recommend a child under about ten reads with an adult nearby — the same rule as any tool that lets a user type text and get a response.
Data
You do not need an account to read. Playing anonymously keeps your run in your own browser. An account is only needed to open a path nobody has taken before, to keep your runs, or to write on a story.
Questions or concerns
Email dan.rimon@gmail.com — a parent asking for a story to be changed or removed gets an answer, not a form letter.
